As part of its ongoing digital transformation roadmap, Telecom Egypt (TE) continues to advance its national infrastructure through the successful deployment of the ONMSi Fiber Monitoring System (FMS) in collaboration with VIAVI Solutions.
This state-of-the-art monitoring platform provides real-time network visibility, instant fault detection, accelerated recovery times, and centralized network monitoring, enabling smarter, data-driven operations across Telecom Egypt’s nationwide fiber network.
The project was recently showcased by Telecom Egypt during the Cairo ICT Exhibition, where the system’s critical role in enabling automated and intelligent fiber infrastructure management was highlighted.
As the implementation partner, Alkan Telecom led the project’s full integration, deployment, optimization, and operational enablement, ensuring that Telecom Egypt’s technical teams are fully equipped to leverage the platform’s advanced monitoring capabilities.
